barry couldn’t swim until taako taught him during the beach year… a hundred years later the coin tells his voidfished self that one of his favorite things is swimming in cold water on a hot day…….. i know the real reason for this is bc griffin just forgot he said it but in my headcanons… the reason why barry loves it so much b/c it reminds him of a happy time with his family. even when he can’t remember them… the feeling remains
